A new version 3.9 of INOSA is on its way out. Below is the list of issues that were part of this upgrade.

Folder short name to documents
You can add a folder short-name to any folder to describe ("tag") where the document belongs.
First you need to activate the folder short name in the title: → variables - document title - add "{folder_short}"
Select folder, edit properties, and type the wanted folder short name:
Use the phrase "{folder_level_x_short}" to include the underlying folder levels. "{folder_level_1_short}" will give the same short name in all folders from level 1.
Standard links to symbols
You (as a system administrator) can add standard links to symbols. This means that every time someone in your organization uses a specific symbol, the link will lead them to the same item or URL. This can be useful if you for instance want to explain the use of PPE.
Select a symbol in the symbol section in the admin tool and then the 3-dot menu:
Insert the wanted link. This link will appear when some use the symbol in a document,
Global filter for departments in document reports
It is possible to select the global filter for department in the document reports.
- Documents per folder - department filter will show documents where users in the selcted department are authors, verifiers, or approvers
- Document per author - will show the documents for authors in a specific department
- Document per status - department filter will show documents where users in the selected department are authors, verifiers, or approvers
- Detailed document list - department filter will show documents where users in the selected department are authors, verifiers, or approvers
Default landing page = ToDo
The default landing page (home) is set to ToDo for all new users. The users can still change this themselves.
Log the change of responsible for documents
When someone has changed the responsibiity for a a document (author, verifier or approver) this will show in the document action log:
