Add table by selecting the "+" in the text field - Show additional options

Select Insert table by marking the wanted size (rows and coloumns) of the table

You can change the size of the table by using the + for adding more rows or coloumns or the trash bins for removing

You can also add more rows by clicking Tab in the last cell of the table

Select colour of cells, rows or coloums by marking them and select colour from the palette. 

OK to select.
